M.I.D.O.R. & Six4Eight is a collaboration between Rutger van Bostelen and Eelke Kleijn. They have been actively producing music since December 2002, when they were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. Both were doing some bedroom producing and DJing at small parties from friends and schools. After talking about their musical passions for a couple of hours they decided to join forces and started working together. They helped DJ Precision getting the Somatic Sense record label off the ground on which their first EP '7th Heaven / Cloud City' was the first release. It did extremely well, with 'Cloud City' even making it onto the 'Sensation White 2003' CD, one of the largest dance compilations in The Netherlands. Various releases, co operations, and remixes have followed ever since, for artists like Talla 2XLC (Warner), Dito (Torpedo), Neo & Farina (Hotdecks) and MK-S vs. Robert Nickson (Armada). Their 'After Midnight EP' on Duty Free's sub label Intensive did extremely well again. ‘No Man’s Land’ in particular gained large support from Tiesto (playing it at his concert and on national tv), Paul van Dyk, Tall Paul, Armin van Buuren, Seb Fontaine and others. It also made in onto Scott Bond's mix album 'Ahead' as well as the Dance Valley compilation. Besides the work they have done as M.I.D.O.R. & Six4Eight, they are also known as ‘Global Interference’, ‘Aegan’ and 'Eelke Kleijn & Rutger van Bostelen'. Especially this last project name represents a completely different sound with the emphasis on deep grooves. Their music has brought them exciting gigs as well. You can catch M.I.D.O.R. spinning throughout Europe among the likes of Angel Sanchez, Ron van den Beuken, Brian Cross and others, whereas Eelke plays a more laidback progressive sound which got him gigs besides Bart van Wissen, Sander van Doorn and Don Diablo.
